Good MIDI music, although I would like you to put the 8-bit music again and the overlay effect, It gave a more retro look.

The MIDI music makes the game install size really small, and is less repetitive than the 8-bit loops. The overlay effect is not compatible with the new screen management system, maybe I will add it again in the future, but not many people like it tho
mogang fist game
So you made this all in Java as well? That's pretty impressive, haven't played the game yet, but it looks as if you're keeping it close to the original game. Done a very good job just from what I can see in the screenshots!
THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
============== GERMAN ==============
Ein offen "Minecraft" & "Minicraft"-Inspiriertes 2D-Survival. Schön für nebenbei oder auf dem Handy (Android)
First Impression Video:
- schöner, simpler Pixelart-Stil im Gameboy-Look
- absolut selbsterklärende Features
- Permadeath nimmt Lust auf Kreativität
- Soundtrack macht gute Stimmung, dennoch sehr anstrengend
============== ENGLISH ==============
An openly admitted "Minecraft" & "Minicraft"-inspired 2D-Survival game. Nice for a coffee break or on mobile devices (Android).
- nice, simple Pixelart-Stile, looks like a GameBoy Color Game
- completely self-explanatory features
- permadeath kills interest in being creative
- Soundtrack lifts the mood but over a long time still tiring
Thank you for playing and the fair review, I really enjoyed watching you playing the game. Stay tuned for more content :D
The new build disabled the ability to hit anything.
Good Game, I love pass time without wifi in this game but i have some complaint ;)
Can you upgrade the range of weapons ? The permadeath is not a problem for me but whenn i want to fight monsters they run on me and they are too far or too close to take damages.
And the music ... PLEASE make it less repetitive...
PS: I'm French sorry for my English.
The range of the weapons should not be a problem, you need to know how the enemy usually attacks and react to that, the combat is skill based rather than just press a button, you need to move to dodge and attack as part of the combat.
I'm working adding more things at the moment, also in more music, for now you can disable it and play your own music while playing.
Thank you for the comment :D
Hey its a tiny complaint but, do you mean Minecraft instead of Minicraft? I'm sure the original game isn't called Minicraft.
I played it some more, and got further into it (Before I got lost in the dungeon and dying). The one thing I noticed above any other is that the amount of resources you get from breaking blocks is very low and the costs to build anything are very high.
To build anything substantial you have to collect vast areas of resources.
I understand that your trying to make it more difficult, but at these settings you have to collect about 40 iron blocks and 8 or 9 trees just to make 1 tool.
(Compared with Minecraft that's about 20 times the iron and about 200 times the wood needed.)
To make a square 5 x 5 "shelter" with 4 walls and a door takes over 200 trees!
(That's alot of trees for a tiny little shelter that doesn't even have a floor)
My math may be off a little bit, I'd be suprised if it wasn't, but it should be fairly close.
The game itself is fun to play, but that's alot of gathering.
Also, I really like the fact that it plays with a gamepad. It makes it much more fun.
Thank you for your comment, it is true that the game is not balanced yet, I'm still working on adding more and more things so I'm going to balance the drop and the recipes after adding more resources, different dungeons and more islands with different biomes. Feel free to post a suggestion on about recipes and drops here https://trello.com/b/n2pEWo2n/tinicraft . Thank you for playing :D
That is a completely another game, in fact, is a modified version of Minicraft from notch.
Tinicraft is inspired on it, that means they have things in common but is a complete new game, so please, don't confuse the people.
AMAZING IM HAVING SO MUCH FUN
there is no game file
It won't launch on mac
Do you have Java installed?
I have java installed, and I have the same problem

Cute Game, I could see myself playing this.
The permadeath thing is a little harsh. Maybe make it an option ?
It Looks Like Minicraft
this looks like minecraft +
This is super cute. Looking forward to seeing future development on it.
Curious 2D Minecraft version. Inspired in Minicraft, but with better graphics.
